De llegarse a concretar, GaGa tomaría el puesto dejado por el legendario, Freddie Mercury.

En una entrevista con el Daily Express, Brian May, guitarrista de Queen y artista invitado para participar en el más reciente single de Lady GaGa, ‘Yoü & I’, sorprendió a propios y extraños cuando contó que ha estado en negociaciones con GaGa, proponiéndole entre otras cosas, que se convierta en la nueva vocalista de la banda:

“Hablamos de salir de gira todo el tiempo pero nos hace falta un[a] cantante, por lo menos. Hemos recibido muchas ofertas para trabajar con otras personas. Lo he hecho con Lady GaGa y me parece una chica muy creativa, es alguien con quien ya hemos hablado de asumir el papel de vocalista de la banda. Ella no es sólo una cantante sino que también escribe su propio material.”
